Roccabox UK Beauty Subscription Box Review July 2018

Roccabox is one of the newest UK Beauty Subscription Boxes that I have tried and the feelings I have for this one are great. This month’s box has 6 products inside and the box is a very good size. This month’s theme is about bringing the hottest skin care, the latest technology, and multi-tasking wonder products. So perfect if you are wanting to spruce up your collections for the Summer. The brains behind Roccabox is one of our very own, Carly Musleh, who is a blogger and the owner behind Beauty Sauce. The subscription is £10.00 a month but if you wanted one box to start you off its £13.95. Oh, one other thing, for every box sold Carly is making a personal donation to charity which supports mental health. So let’s take a look inside July’s box!

Pureology Serious Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner: UK Beauty Subscription Box

This little duo is incredible. Whilst these products claim to be for ‘serious colour care’, these products aren’t as coloured as most purple shampoos and conditioners, namely Redken Blondage range which you would use twice a week max. So I see these products more for everyday use because they are almost like a lavender colour. They are extremely hydrating and help to leave my hair feeling incredibly soft after every use. These products are not full sized, but their RRP are £18.50 (shampoo, full-sized) and £21.50 (conditioner, full-sized).

Dr Paw Paw Original Balm

This product reminds me a little of Lush’s Ultra Balm if you know it; suitable for all types of skin, multi-purposeful, and natural. This product is for the lips, skin, hair, cuticles, nails, and beauty finishing. This is such a good product to use if you are dying your hair, you can pop it along your hairline and wallah, your head doesn’t get dyed too! This product is full sized and the RRP is £6.95.

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer

I have to admit one thing, this product is tiny! A bit too tiny for my liking. Despite its size, Bare Minerals Lip Lacquers are incredible- full of pigment, moisturising, and last on the lip for a good amount of time. The colour I received is a pinky/cinnamon shade, the perfect Summer-Autumn transitional colour may I claim. This product isn’t full sized but this sample size is worth £6.90.

Pixi, By Petra Lash Line Ink

This is one of Carly Musleh’s staple makeup products. This lash line ink is long-wear, smudge-proof, and non-feathering. With a flexible precision tip, the formula goes on smooth and dries fast. A little top tip, dot the tip onto lash root for extra eye definition and fuller looking lashes. This product is full-sized and its RRP is £12.00.

PCA Skin Revitalize Mask

A full sized bottle of this product is a whopping £49.00! Although we have a smaller sized tube in this month’s box, it’s still an absolute bargain! This is Carly’s pick of all their amazing products, which I have to totally agree when it comes to achieving skin which is bright, glowy, and looks deeply exfoliated. This is an enzyme mask that is packed with papaya, honey, green tea, and Vitamin E. A gorgeous little product to try this month.

So to conclude, this UK Beauty Subscription Box is definitely worth the money! This box is just as good asa, if not better, than Birchbox, Glossybox, and Look Fantastic which is a major compliment in my books. If you are wanting a UK beauty subscription box where the products have been chosen by a skilled beauty blogger, then this is the box to buy. I roughly estimate this box to be worth £50.00, which is fantastic for a £10.00 investment.
