The moment I paid the holding deposit for my new house I was straight onto Pinterest (an app which I thought that I never liked). Now here’s a few words of wisdom for those of you who have never experienced the ‘Pinterest addiction’… one day it will creep up on you too. Especially when it comes to weddings, home decor, and anything that requires a bit of creative effort really. Whilst searching for ‘Rose Gold’ and ‘Blush’ living room ideas, I was saddened to find that there weren’t many inspiring photos about. I’m not entirely sure if it’s because pink is considered too ‘girly’ or if the significant other half point blank refuses to have pink in their living room (yep, I’m talking from experience and the latter challenge was accepted). But like they say, ‘where there’s a whim there’s a way’, and eventually I managed to convince my other half that a blush pink and rose gold combo was a good idea if we took more of an industrial approach to our design. Any who, a brick wall and some industrial furnishings later… what pink? HA.
